This week has been on of the most challenging for me because of all that I have to do as a teacher, and as a student. The constraints that come with both jobs can leave me drained and without inspiration, but this week I had this quiet voice saying keep going. As each opportunity arose I met it head on, and the Lord empowered me through each day. The joy that I have on the inside, STILL, with a pile of bills to pay, papers to write, papers to grade, people to care for, students to minister to, is indescribable!!!! I AM INSPIRED2Liv!!!!
Today a women told me these words.....
Angela, if I never see you again, I want you to know this, You are a beautiful young women and your going to be great one day, so you need to get comfortable with who you are and what success feels like, YOU NEED TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH SUCCESS!!!!
........... in the midst of everything God still shows us what he thinks of us!!!
In hearing her words, I was reminded of why I am doing it all, and inspired to do more. So today I am challenging you to do more, be more, become more, and become friends with SUCCESS as you do!!!!

Inspired by Paul

Today, I listened to the book of Acts, and was inspired by the tenacity of the disciples. They went from place to place trying to share the good news of Jesus, despite much opposition. Many times they faced being punished and persecuted if they did not stop sharing the news, but they still continued on because they knew what they were doing was a commission from God. As they persevered, God continually opened doors and saved them from those who tried to slow them down. I wonder what would happen if I had the same tenacity. If when opposition comes, I boldly go forward without hesitation. I believe he will show up!!! He did it before and he will do it again. That's INSPIRING!!!

Choosing to Inspire

To inspire I must be inspired myself, and that can sometimes be challenging when the circumstances around me are not inspiring, however focus is important. These are my words to live by, because they exemplify Jesus himself. Many times the things that were happening around him were not very inspiring, but still he prevailed. He gave us inspiration to hold on to the promises he died for us to have. Paul did not have a very inspiring environment, but he remained focused so that we could be inspired. Today I say, choose to inspire in spite of the situations and circumstances around you, because in doing so, you may be changing the life of another.

Letter to Darlene Workshop Facilitator

Dear Darlene,
The Writer’s Workshop was a true blessing. I did have to leave early to attend service, but for the time I was present the workshop was very informative and I received a few valuable points.
Establishing a “no procrastination zone” in the home was key for me, because I do procrastinate at times. If I create this area in my home and use it to do my writing, I know I will be one step closer to my goal. The key is not allowing anything to interrupt my writing time. The acronym, Goals Plans Action, GPA is invaluable another thing I got from the workshop. I plan to use it with my students to show them how to raise their own GPA’s while using this strategy. The second acronym for GPA, Goals, Purpose, and Audience, was also very helpful. This particular acronym is one I plan to use to help me plan for my writing.
From this workshop, I plan to become more disciplined in my writing, by implementing GPA in my life. I hope I can use this as a tool to become more inspired to write, and develop a support system for my writing as well.
